Remembering 24,000 who fell in the service of Israel

INAUGURATED in 2017, Israelís National Memorial Hall for Fallen Soldiers is situated deep in a mound on Mount Herzl but rises to the sky from within.

An architecturally brilliant and inspiring sight that seems to bask in an almost magnetic aura, the memorial is an all-encompassing national embrace of Israelís most painfully open wound ó the loss of more than 24,000 servicemen and women who have fallen in the line of duty since before the State of Israel was founded in 1948 to present times.
