Couple find love at party

FELICE LEVINE and Daniel Simmons wed four years after meeting at a Jewish charity party.

The couple were married at The Pines, Chorley, by Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation's Rabbi Daniel Walker.

Felice, who works in human resources, is the daughter of Louis and Brenda Levine, of Unsworth, while Daniel, a management accountant, is the son of Pat Simmons, of Moortown, Leeds, and the late Hilton Simmons.

Unterfurers were Nicole and Mike Maron. Best man was Steve Arion. Bridesmaid was Rachel Burman and pageboys were Samuel Levine and Jacob Maron.

Guests from Canada joined in the celebrations.

After a honeymoon in America, the couple will settle in Radcliffe.


Honeymoon on cruise

STUDENTS Leanne Howard and Ben Gebal were married at the City Halls in Glasgow last month.

Leanne is the daughter of Gail and Paul Howard of Leeds, while Ben is the son of Anne and Paul Gebal of Dechmont, Scotland.

Bridesmaids were Sian and Rachel Jacobs, and Amber Mack. Best Man was Stefan Gebal.

Special guests included friends who travelled from the United States, South Africa and Poland.

The couple who met at Leeds University are honeymooning on a Mediterranean cruise and will settle in Leeds.


Noah's spark

NOAH Bickler was barmitzvah at Etz Chaim Synagogue last Shabbat.

The son of Tracy and Simon Bickler of Alwoodley, Noah is a pupil at The Grammar School at Leeds.

Noah plays football for Leeds Maccabi and enjoys tennis and computers.

Grandparents David and Rosalind Bickler, Jeff and Jean Coburn, and Sandra Joyce joined guests from Israel and London at the simcha.

Noah has two brothers, Ben, 17, and Jack, 16, who also attend The Grammar School at Leeds, and a younger sister Millie, who turned nine yesterday, at Brodetsky Primary School.
