Starmitzvah

Celebrities helped Joseph Port enjoy his barmitzvah last weekend. On top of X Factor finalist Lloyd Daniels and pop star Chipmunk making special appearances, Leeds United legends Allan Clarke and Paul Reaney were on hand to complete Joseph's big day by presenting him with autographed tracksuit tops and a football as a special gift. Joseph is pictured with parents Mandy and Martin Port together with sister Leah, brother Joshua and Lloyd. Below, Chipmunk wishes Joseph mazeltov while, Reaney and Clarke unveil a special Leeds United 'barmitzvah' flag.

The youngster performed his barmitzvah piece at Beth Hamidrash Hagadol Synagogue on Shabbat with the celebrations the following day at Etz Chaim Synagogue.

The son of Mandy and Martin Port, of Alwoodley, Joseph is a pupil at Allerton High School.

His hobbies include basketball, swimming and Leeds United

Grandparents Marlene and Ivan Green, and Gillian Port and Jeffrey Port attended the simcha.

Guests travelled from London and Germany.

Joseph's older brother Ben Newman studies at Manchester University while his sister Leah, 14, is at King David High School, and younger brother, Joshua, 10, is a pupil at Brodetsky Primary School.
