Couple started dating before their first date!

JUST three weeks after moving to London, Katie Lee and Josh Hearne hooked up on the Jewish dating app JSwipe.

They planned a date for the following week but, a few nights before they were due to meet, they bumped into each other in a bar in the capital.

And four years later, the couple married at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, by Hale Synagogue’s Rabbi Joel Portnoy.

Marketing executive Katie is the daughter of Vicky and Darryl Lee, of Hale Barns, while financial director Josh is the son of Amanda and Steve Hearne, of London.

Best man was the groom’s brother Sam Hearne. Maid of honour was Hannah Lee, the bride’s sister, while bridesmaids were Emma Hearne, Felicity Shonn, Liron Ingleby and Tasha Son.

Joining in the celebrations were the bride’s grandmother, Sonia Lee, of Hale Barns, and the groom’s grandparents, as well as guests from Florida and Israel.

After a mini-moon in New York City, the couple have settled in London and will honeymoon with a road trip down America’s West Coast in July.
