NOW that he is 40, Giles Howe has entered a new phase of his career.
And it is one that places him not behind a cast, ensemble or touring company - but at the centre of his own project.
For Giles’ album, Something Cool, recorded under the duo name Gilo & Royal Blue with guitarist Scott ‘Royal Blue’ Niebauer, marks the first time he has released a full-length studio album which reflects his own voice and musical identity, rather than work he has produced for others.
“I’d already been performing locally as a vocalist with Scott,” Giles said from his home in DeLand, Florida.
