FROM the outset, it is obvious that Sue Mautner is nothing but headstrong.
It is probably one of the reasons why the affable Londoner defied her parents to appear on iconic pop television programme Ready Steady Go!.
At the time, Sue was only 17 — but it led her to become a front-row witness to rock history as a music journalist and insider.
And she shares her memories in a new podcast series, She’s With The Band: A Love Letter to Rock and Roll — made by Dover Street Productions — which was released yesterday.
Sue contributed to some of the most influential music publications of the time — Beatles Monthly, Rolling Stones Monthly, NME, Tiger Beat and Boyfriend magazine.
