Immersive musical Oscar is crowning glory for Shira

THEATRE director Shira Milikowsky’s parents weren’t just super supportive of her career choice, her mother has even become an investor in her latest production as well as a co-producer.

But Rebecca Gold Milikowsky isn’t your run-of-the-mill mother, she is a Tony Award-winning producer, who has been involved in countless hit shows.

Shira’s latest show Oscar at the Crown — which is booking in London until the end of August — had its gala event last night after a couple of weeks of previews. It has been an eight-year journey to get the show — described as “the dystopian dance party musical” — into the West End.
