Fiddler is a 'big task', but director made a mighty Fein job of it

JORDAN Fein was entrusted with one of the biggest jobs in musical theatre when he directed Fiddler on the Roof at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre in London, last year.

And his selection was vindicated as the revival received 13 Olivier Award nominations - winning three.

Philadelphia-born Jordan isn’t one to sit back and lap up the praise. Instead he is preparing for the show’s move to the Barbican Theatre, London, followed by a full UK tour.

Jordan admits that taking on Fiddler was a “big task because people come in with such a love and idea of what they want it to be”.
