But her plans were derailed by the terrorist attack on Israel on October 7.

“I was in New York at the time,” she said.

“I woke up in the morning and saw a lot of messages on my phone.

“The first three to four months, I couldn’t do anything else but be aware of what’s going on; trying to help wherever possible.”
