WHEN Adam Gopnik followed his magic-obsessed son to Las Vegas 15 years ago, he was not aware it was going to be the catalyst for a new book.
In truth, he did not think it was going to be anything other than an interesting holiday.
Instead, and most inadvertently, it led to a journey of self-discovery, one whereby the now-66-year-old writer learned (or at least tried) to drive, draw and dance, all of which he did AFTER passing his half century.
